Sock Puppets
Often we do "crafts-on-the-spur-of-the-moment"....meaning we have all the stuff for it, and the kids are bored and I say, "how about we do X, y or z". This day Elias and Zanthippie (our neighbor) chose sock puppets.
It kept them busy planning and cutting and gluing for quite some time. After I re-glued some pieces with hot-glue, they put on a puppet show.
